They are trying to claim all react videos as their own. They attacked Ellen for “stealing their format”. People had done similar things to them before they did, and they didn’t attack the Fine Bros.
They’re claiming their format. They have a series about young folk reacting to old technology, and TV likes to dunk on YouTube because the internet isn’t “real art”. They explicitly say they aren’t claiming all ‘react’ content as their own, because that’s fucking dumb. They are trying to protect their series. Not claiming “ ALL REACT R BELONG TO US”
If you’ve noticed, YouTube is fucking over content creators like nobody’s business right now. Go watch Channel Awesome’s “what the fuck YouTube” videos to learn more. So yea, when the system is unstable and TV is stealing your gig, its fine to go “um pls no” when your livelihood is at steak.

Also that one Facebook post was a fan page so I’m like. Wut. If U can direct me to something the boys themselves actually posted about ‘ALL REACT ARE OURS’ I will accept it as, as I said, I am a drunk avoiding feeling sadness atm and am likely to make errors.
But what I can find is a lot of overreaction on the internet’s part and a lot of artists protecting their own shit on the brothers’ part.
