Hey, anon. Thanks for sharing with me your confusion/concern. Obviously, I am not going to copy all canon attitudes of the survivors towards Lottie because that would take away the suspense. FMHITW!Van's attitude comes from the fact that I imagine Van and Lottie having been good friends outside the team. Just because Van left Astrafield doesn't mean she is gone from the fanfic for good. As the story progresses, you will read about their friendship more. Actually, there will be a point about this in the next update. Hope I could help you!

Aw thank you so much!! Ainsley and Van may not have talked that much but Ainsley is just that kind of person who cares deeply, even about the people she personally is not close with but she knows are a friend of someone else she knows

I can tell you that Van will stay for like three chapters, but don't be sad because I am planning on bringing her back along with the other Yellowjackets in the upcoming chapters, but until then you need some patience :)
