"Gruss aus Marienbad."

A nice studio photograph of two Romanian women in a fake hot air balloon, taken in Marienbad (now Mariánské Lázně). It was mailed by one of the women to her friend Berthe on 3 August 1907, and received in Craiova, Romania two days later. The recipient, Berthe, was the wife of a Dr. Marcu. Their son Alfred, who is mentioned in the letter ("...ține și Alfred un sărut"), graduated from Craiova's Higher School of Commerce in 1915.
