I like to believe that if Rex and Benny met in a post-movie scenario, they’d be good friends. The both of them eperienced long, long periods of loneliness in space and both of them lost their friends in the process. Benny, who’s probably dealt with it a way before Rex could give him pointers and help him get over the trauma and Rex could teach Bnny about modern spacechip designs and cool planets he’s seen. Benny can navigate Rex though a panic attack whenever he feels like he’s back in Undar and Rex can ground Benny when he feels lost alone in space again. Give me the two of them being each other’s comforters,,,,,please,,,,
