i don’t care what your thoughts on thorkyrie and/or thorjane are, we should all be able to admit that the mcu shelving thor’s black female love interest only to bring back his white ex gf who hasn’t been seen in almost 10 years is messed up and wrong, if not very indicative of them catering to a very extremist side of marvel’s consumers

thor love and thunder really should’ve been about grief and rebuilding and it should’ve only been about thor and valkyrie. she took over for thor after he needed time to grieve there should’ve been reciprocation in that, that should’ve been the theme. the villain should’ve been after HER. i understand the female thor thing but isn’t valkyrie *basically* female thor as well? she’s what thor was supposed to be. isn’t the same theme translated with valkyrie still being the female lead? i cannot understand for the life of me what janes relevance is to this movie. and the fact she pushed val out of the female lead role when she barely had it puts the worst taste in my mouth.

It’s not gonna happen, but can you imagine if at the end of everything, both Loki and Thor ended up with Biracial/Black girlfriends. Certain fans would implode.

Thor not just gave the throne to Valkyrie, but most important is the people. After half (or more) of Asgardian was gone, he won’t leave them without knowing someone would and capable of protecting and thriving the remaining Asgardian. We all could agree on that, right?
