So I participated in National Novel Writing Month 2011 and won, so part of my reward other than bragging rights was that CreateSpace printed out five copies of my novel for free. They just arrived today. I'm too thrilled for words. LOOKIT THE PRETTY. *_*

I designed the cover myself. And yes, that's my real name. It doesn't roll of the tongue, so that's why I go by Kyoko. ^^;

The novel is a science fiction adventure about two Korean siblings, Scarlett and Duke Nam, who accidentally find themselves in the middle of a war between humans and a race of aliens called the Bergleute de Todos, roughly "the miners of death" in German.

This novel is not on sale and will never go into production because I wrote it in a month and it has a TBC ending because I don't like the story enough to finish it. But it is printed out like a real novel and it is by far the coolest thing ever.

Day 13 - Name a male character from your novel. Describe him through the point of view and words of the female character you introduced in question 3 (if they never interact, pick another female character).

My vision cleared somewhat and I could see him. He was white, late twenties, tall, grey eyes, brown hair, goatee, wearing an expensive black suit, tie, and dress shoes. His hands were in his pockets as he watched me. I didn’t like it.

“Travis Hallstead. Not that I owe you anything,” he said in that smoky voice.

“You owe me an explanation,” I sneered, trying once more to stand up. This time, I didn’t puke and my legs held. He narrowed his eyes at me.

“So do you.”

I snorted. “Don’t tell me: you’re gonna ask me about the Star Wars Contingency.”

“It’s the Starlight Contingency,” Travis corrected. “And yeah, I was.”
