I'm adopted, which is obvious enough if you ever see me with one of my dads. I was only with them with a few years before I was considered an adult, but those were the best years of my life. No more being kept away when people came to the orphanage to adopt a human child, or patrons being told I was simply "sturdy", or having to wear hoods if I ever left the orphanage for a day. I'm surprised they even adopted me, actually, 'cause the day before, I got in trouble for making a smoke bomb that might have gone off in the privy. Dad simply laughed and said "I like this one, Kadan. Bet she's got a knack for mayhem."
