Another reason why I love the romance of Astarion and Durge most of all is the ambiguity and, in a sense, the danger of their union. Yes, the characters can positively influence each other, but in a situation where Durge accepts his father’s legacy, Astarion will be a victim in any case. Even if Astarion performed a ritual and made Durge the spawn of a vampire, this does not change anything. He simply exchanges one tormentor for another, no less sick and sophisticated. By the way, this is a good example of the fact that Astarion is mistaken, believing that new forces and power are equivalent to security and freedom.

I do not know why, but in general it seems to me that this development of events is terribly beautiful and sad at the same time, I love it.

Now I'm in the process of passing the game for a good ending for these two, but I think I'll pass the second one for the evil Durge and Astarion, it's too interesting to look at it!

I was actually a little upset by the lack of reaction from my companions to the meeting with Kressa Bonedaughter, although DAMN THIS IS SO MAD, I even feel sorry for Durge. All these wild entries from her diaries about how she opened his body and Durge tried to strangle her with his own intestines are simply terrible, WHY ARE NONE OF THE COMPANIONS SHOCKED BY THIS INFORMATION???

I like to think that the Guardian actually takes the form of someone close to you, so my Tav sees him as a person from his past with whom he was in love. In the first sketch he is 18-19 years old (he looked younger than his age due to his lifestyle). During these years, Roland was definitely a member of the cult of Bhaal, and perhaps this bearded half-elf was his crush, haha

I also really like drawing Roland in the company of guys, because obviously for him this is his first experience of such friendly relations and it clearly has a therapeutic effect on him.

Roland's mother died early; until he was 7 years old, he lived with his father, who hated him for his origin. When the father once again beat the boy in self-defense, Roland killed his father. This was his first kill.

I've been thinking about drawing Roland and Orin for a long time, they are such sinister siblings, hehe. I also drew the moment when he received a burn.
