THE BATMAN — 2022, dir. Matt Reeves
finally time to draw batman again
We have a signal for when I’m needed. But when that light hits the sky it’s not just a call, it’s a warning. To them, fear is a tool. They think I’m hiding in the shadows…but I am the shadows.

so unswag of the batman to use edward nashton instead of edward nygma for the riddler. oh i'm sorry you're okay with the man dressed up as a bat but you draw the line at the riddle man being named e. nygma. absolutely bitchless behaviour
there have been three types of people on this post:
- people telling me that the riddler changed his name to nygma later in life. these people are also bitchless.
- people agreeing with me. these people get SO many bitches.
- nygma balls
Haha im not crying bcs battinson should have 2 sons (or more) but i am actually.
The Batman (2022) is a comedy™
Bruce showing up to Dick and Jason's little league game like:
hey guys I brought clementines and Kool aid jammers
IM MEOWING
#emo boys
See the thing about this batman is it is a noir that understands that batmans villains are all an extension of his psychology, and that he has a multifaceted personality to explore through different villains. Also all batman villains want to fuck batman. This movie understands both of these things.

obsessed with the idea that bruce acts like lucille bluth when he's being airheaded socialite brucie wayne😂
here's a bonus brucie with reporter clark kent:
One thing I really liked about The Batman was how it made Riddler legitimately creepy. Watching the movie, I could understand how the people of Gotham must have been afraid of where he would strike next. They approached this classic Batman villain as a legitimate serial killer and they never once tried to make him gimmicky or silly. Yes, Riddler is a Batman villain but he's also a complex and terrifying killer and everyone understood the implications of what letting a man like him run around the city would be. He wouldn't have stopped killing if he hadn't been stopped. The fear he instilled in people was a mirror to the fear Batman instilled and ended up, ultimately, being a push towards Bruce realizing that he has to be hope for the people more than someone the average person should fear.
robert pattinson about his batman: this is an on fire trashcan
everyone who wants battinson to have a robin, including robert himself: could be a nursery....
