Thanks so much. Time flies, huh? Yeah also glad to not be following the proship blogs I followed back then. Also fandoms in 2013 basically normalized some fucked up shit, I still remember how popular that one ship between a teenager and his adult ghost cousin was in the Dude That's My Ghost fandom back then. :/

Glad to be out of all that and that fandoms aren't as afraid to call out messed up shit when needed.

I've been into Cookie Run Kingdom since the Hollyberry update, and I got back into it for a bit when they brought back the cake shop recently. I'm hoping at some point I can get back into it soon because I miss the hype I was in on the regular.

My attention seems to go from one interest to another and back again in the course of months, I've always been this way lol.

And I love her voice too, I was nearly crying seeing that one flashback during her chapter. One post was like "Ya know, it's a good thing they didn't give her a secret daughter because she already lost everything, it'd be too tragic" and I was like, same. Like, she doesn't need THAT piled on top of losing all her subjects.

Also seeing her and Black Raisin start to connect with each other was just so precious, how much they related to each other.

The latter was in an older English dub afaik. I’ll have to check it out in full to double check but it’s not too surprising considering how name changes in older dubs can be. lol

Exactly! That's a HUGE variation over the course of a couple decades. I feel like the closest English va in sound to Kei Tomiyama's take on the character from the 80s and prior, that I can think of, would probably be either Don Messick or Paul Frees. His og voice in Endless Orbit SSX is so warm and comforting imo.

I do think John Payne and Edwin Neal are my fave English voices for him, the former matches Tomiyama's more quieter delivery in the Galaxy Express 999 movie and Edwin Neal I can kinda see being a somewhat fitting voice for him in Endless Orbit SSX if an English dub of that were to be made nowadays (maybe with a different line delivery but still).
