what would your ideal date with Tochiro be like?
Ooh! Either an arcade where we can compete with each other on some retro games or an amusement park and the latter has the bonus of us staying until night seeing the pretty lights in the park! >w<
Outside of being out and about, the two of us would probably do some computer tinkering or repair as a little bonding moment.
Man, if me and Tochiro lived together (or me and Nobotta for that matter), the amount of times I'd talk to Mr. Bird like I'm talking to a baby would be numerous lol.
Like,
"Who da silliest wittle birb I ever did see? YOU ARE! YES YOU AREEEE!!! OwO"
Nobotta would probs find it a tad annoying at first, but he'd probably warm up to it. And as for Tochiro, he'd probably find it quite endearing, like I see his bird as like a son in a way. uwu

Between wanting an antique car to wanting to go deeper into any kind of hole he finds (no dirty pun intended, I stg lol), this man's got no impulse control lol
Tochiro's never been good with cleaning his living space. He occasionally has the urge to clean in short bursts of motivation, and HE specifically has to be the one to clean his room, otherwise he won't know where everything is.
But even if he's the one cleaning his room, he tends to struggle to find anything after cleaning his room. He also finds it to be kind of a pointless endeavor anyway because it just gets messy again and organized chaos > not being able to find anything.
Miime once cleaned his room as a surprise after his birthday. At first, he was a bit perplexed but unbothered until he struggled to find his journal, books, and ramen packs. He barged into the main deck and was like "WHICH ONE OF Y'ALL WERE IN MY ROOM?!! I CAN'T FIND A DAMNED THING!!" After that, he made sure no one entered his room without permission.... and installed a lock on his door in the Arcadia.
He outright stopped cleaning his room, only making sure things are easy to find, once he was diagnosed with space disease. He's gotta save the energy for when he really needs it, plus he still has HELLA executive dysfunction either way, so.
Whenever he doesn't have his own bedroom to himself in various timelines, he at least has a workshop to himself that's equally as messy and cluttered as his room in other timelines. Case in point, his workshop on the Arcadia in Endless Orbit SSX/Albator 84.
Finally found a good hairstyle for Nobotta. It's not 100% Maxis match, but it fits really well. ^w^
Also, referenced Futoshi Adachi in the live action adaptation of Ganso Daiyojohan Daimonogatari for this one since Adachi in that manga is basically a lookalike of Nobotta Oyama from Otoko Oidon.

Nobotta: I'll admit, I've definitely caused some problems for myself, always forgetting to wash my boxers, buying new ones with all the money I got... no wonder I was so broke and miserable back in the boarding house. ;_;

Sometimes, a series doesn't really show you what kind of music or art characters like, and that's one thing I noticed with Tochiro and Nobotta lately.
We do know Tochiro likes playing his harmonica but isn't really the best at it. Nobotta doesn't seem to play any instruments, but that's not to say he's NEVER played one before, and he probably sings or hums to himself on occasion. Maybe humming a tune his family used to play on the radio when he was young.
As far as what kind of popular music they'd go for if they had a music collection, an ipod, or a spotify account, somehow I can see them both having a lot of tracks with a folksy vibe going on, maybe a few nostalgic pop tunes here and there that remind them of when they were kids/teens.
I was especially thinking this when I was listening to a kayoukyoku playlist (aka, Japanese language oldies music). There were some folksy tracks in that playlist that reminded me a bit of Nobotta and Tochiro.
Making myself the taller one was a challenge since the taller person's clothing was intended to look like a male love interest. But Tochiro is shorter than me, so I figured it was more fitting to switch the usual roles here.
