Friday Five

1. The highlight of my week was finding out that my car repairs were covered under a warranty because the part that failed was the same one that was just replaced a month or two ago. So, not only is my car running again, but it didn’t cost us anything to have it fixed this time!

2. Tonight’s the night we were supposed to be seeing Bruno Mars in Cincinnati. Oh, well… *sigh*

3. I’ve decided it’s time to pass down my extensive collection of Barbie dolls to my daughters. I’ve had the Barbies packed away for years, and they have no idea the dolls exist. I still have a trunk of clothes and shoes for them too. The plan is to get them all cleaned up and unveil them for Christmas, along with some new Barbie accessories and maybe a new Dream House. I can’t wait to see their faces!

4. Got the kids a new inflatable pool today. Technically, it’s for them, but yeah, I did get it big enough for me too. It’s hot outside! And I don’t always feel like going up to the common area pool where we live. Plus, I also don’t want to deal with people much of the time, and this will be all ours. *maniacal laugh*

5. Our weekend plans are all up in the air. We didn’t have any for here, since we were supposed to be out of town. When that fell through, I thought we were going to look at cars tomorrow to see if we could trade both cars in for new ones, but now the husband seems to want to back out. I still want to go, but there might just be a lot of time breaking in the new pool this weekend.
