Hey y'all, I'm Mido! During the day I work in software development and games, but at night I do mixed media art for fun! I'm new to this platform so it will take some time to figure things out.

I printed some owl greeting cards on pearlescent paper!
Cool fact about my grandma- she owns her own printing company, so sometimes she uses cool paper for client projects. This was leftover from a wedding invitation job and she gave it to me! Being a shiny paper, I wasn’t expecting the ink to take to it at all. But it worked surprisingly well! The paper even takes pencil and pen without problem, so it’s perfect for some greeting cards >:) I also made some bookmarks of the same print from paper scraps. I got a full 11x17 ream of this stuff so I have a feeling I’ll be making a ton of greeting cards with it…
never kill yourself. i spent my sunday staying up all night playing a furry fishing game because some random person on the internet decided to sit down behind me and dedicate the next three hours of their life to playing undertale music on a shitty 18 fret guitar. the beauty of this world cannot possibly be overstated.
