So, with the new info coming out from SCOTUS.....I'm just gonna drop this great resource for other women in the US...
Did you know you can get the abortion pills without the need of being pregnant? Did you also know you can get them for about $150 dollars.....and the site I'm about to share has a sliding scale, and helps you afford it if it comes to that.
I understand 150 is still a lot of money, but prenatal care is way more. And every uterus owner deserves the right and access to a SAFE abortion. Since, ya know, the whole reason Roe v Wade passed was because legality didn't affect abortion numbers, it just affected the number of safe abortions.
This site is a great resource!!! And keep in mind, a lot of states that have already passed anti-abortion legislature are charging it as a felony....ya know what that means ....felons lose the right to vote.
So people who are pro-life, you're allowed to have your own views and beliefs, but now that they are being forced on everyone, you need to think about what you care about more. A woman's right to vote? A woman's right to life? A woman's right to mourn the loss of her child without a criminal case to "make sure" it was a miscarriage and not caused on purpose? Pro-choice is exactly what it says, giving women the power to make choices based off their own beliefs and values.
Another resource!! Some pilots created a network to help women in the continental US receive needed healthcare, including abortion, and help people get gender affirming care. The website is
https://elevatedaccess.org/ and they help transport you to a state that will take care of you. This is a time where we all have to band together, because obviously the US government isn't helping.
There's also r/auntienetwork on Reddit, which is helping women get access to healthcare, and a lot of ppl on there are offering up lodging and other stuff to women who may need it because they traveled for care.
It's not looking great for some states out there, but know there are people willing to help.
I'm kinda back on Tumblr so I feel this really needs a refresh of resources. This is mainly for the US, but some of the resource sites may be helpful regardless of location. Birth Control Resources: What Types Of Birth Control are Out There

National Abortion Federation Has a multilingual hotline, information for both people seeking abortions, and providers looking for more information. Also includes a directory.

It is awful that abortion is not seen as necessary healthcare. It's a stressful situation to go through to begin with, let alone with how half the country talks about it.
Another thing I'd like to remind everyone, with emergency contraception, Plan B is more effective if you are under 165lbs, so if you are over that your best bet will be to find the medication Ella. It is more effective for a wider variety of weights.
To anyone going through this, you're incredibly brave. Everyone deserves to have bodily autonomy. Don't let anyone dampen your spirit, or make you second guess a decision you know is for the best. And take the time you need to take care of yourself, both physically and mentally.
