Avengers Role-Swap: Phase 2

Carol Danvers, the Head Director of Shield, was the one who came up with the idea for the Avengers Initiatives. Alongside her best friend and trusted Deputy Director, Maria Rambeau. The Avengers were to be a team of remarkable heroes who would not just fight wars but can help end them.

Bucky Barnes has been Steve Rogers best friend ever since they were children. Bucky was there for Steve for everything, from the bullies on the streets to the battlefield of war. Bucky had fought alongside Steve for everything, even when Steve isolated himself from the world, and especially when he disappeared. After his return, Bucky knew that Steve was Captain America,he just knew it. Some years after the rise of Captain America, Bucky was kidnapped by the same group and given the exact same serum. Before they could experiment any further, Captain America had rescued him. After that Bucky really fought by Steve's side through everything. No matter the price, together till the end.

James Rhodes never wanted to be a superhero, he only wanted to protect his best friend, Tony Stark. From others and from himself. At some point during the war, Rhodey got his own suit of armor. However, after several successful missions, something went wrong. A stray missile smashed the back of Rhodey's suit, causing his suit and the man inside to crash. It was believed that the suit had exploded upon impact because at the crash, there was no sign of Rhodey or his suit. Unknown to anyone, Rhodey was found by evil scientists, he was paralyzed from the waist down, so they fixed that. Along with wiping away all his memories. They turned him into the War Machine. An assassin that can kill on sight without being caught. A killer in a machine.

At a young age, Peter Parker had lost his parents and was left all alone. Until, a woman dressed in a cloak showed up at his doorstep and took him to Kamar-Taj. A place where sorcerers and sorceresses train. For years, Peter studied the Mystic Arts and was trained by the best teachers, and his powers grew stronger with time. However, a traitor began wandering the halls of Kamar-Taj and Peter had to be sent away for safety. The Sorcerer Supreme sent Peter to the New York Sanctum, his old home city, with Master Quentin Beck until they could restore order to the Sanctuary.

T'Challa lived in New York all his life, with his loving parents and young genius sister. Growing up in New York, he knew all the dangers that lurked in the dark alleys. One day, his father, who worked as a police officer, was killed in an investigation. Knowing that his father’s death wasn’t an accident, T’Challa set out to find the truth, during which he came in contact with a special herb that gave him extraordinary. Now, with the help of Shuri, the Black Panther became a vigilante that watched over New York while still investigating his father’s death.

Hydra's greatest weapons were the Hydra Brothers: Jarvis and Ultron, two brothers who volunteered for a special project after losing their home and family at the hands of the Avengers. The project lost many volunteers but the brothers had survived the process. Because of the mind stone, Ultron was given technopatical-based powers, he could control all of technology as well as gain access to every part of the internet. Jarvis gained telekinetic-based powers, telekinesis, telepathy, etc. When Hydra fell, they brothers teamed up with an android known as QuickSilver, however, when his intentions on Earth were deadly, Jarvus deflected and joined the Avengers but Ultron stayed.

Quicksilver was an android that could move faster than the average human, he was designed to help the people of Earth but upon activation, his intentions changed. After gaining the Mind Stone, QuickSilver tried to create a "sister" android to fight alongside him and the Hydra Brothers. However, the Avengers took the cradle before they could finish creating her but instead of deactivating the Sister, they activated her. With the power of the Mind Stone, Scarlet Witch fought alongside the Avengers.

Upon being released from prison, Scott Lang was given a job with a secret project, even though it was illegal, Scott needed the job to see his daughter. However, the experiment went horribly wrong, Scott was severely injured and developed a condition known as Molecular Disequilibrium. Because he participated in a possibly illegal project, Scott couldn't go public with his condition. One day, Hank Pym promised to help him find a cure for his condition.
