while all the gifsets on tumblr of this scene are great, gifs just don’t do robert downey jr’s performance in it any justice. this scene is the culmination of years and years of bottled-up emotions; of hurt, pain, frustration, anger and betrayal. this is tony finally reaching his breaking point. just, the vulnerability and raw emotion pouring out of him here. it’s a truly masterful performance from rdj. it’s The Performance™️ of the movie, tbh. tony rly snapped twice in this movie
