“If white people are so privileged why is there a Black Entertainment Network and no White Entertainment Network?”
“Men don’t have privilege, there are women’s only gyms!”
“Why isn’t there a campus centre for straight/cis people!?”

“biological sex is a social construct” doesn’t mean “chromosomes, anatomy, hormones, and genitalia don’t exist”. it means “these exist, but assigning roles, labels, and expectations to certain combinations of these characteristics is a social construct, and an unnecessary and pointless (actually harmful) one at that”.

America, you've got me in tears! I can’t tell you how happy I am for your country and the thousands in love across your land who've earned their well deserved right to marry. Today truly is a turning point in world history and knowing that makes me happier than I can even begin to express!

It just occurred to me that there are queer kids being born TODAY that will never live in a world where the United States doesn’t have same-sex marriage equality. That is so fucking cool.
In a historic decision for same-sex couples and their families, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled today in favor of marriage equality, and same-sex marriage is now legal in all 50 states. In a sweeping victory for LGBT rights advocates, the court ruled that the Fourteenth Amendment requires states to not only recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states, but also license marriages in their own states. That means that bans state bans on same-sex marriage are now unconstitutional under the Fourteenth Amendment.
