I don't think the reason Marinette cried at the end is because she just realized she's in love but Chat said smthg about realizing his feelings for someone else.
No, I think it's because she fell in love with the one person she knows she can't be in love with, and that's her partner. Because she believes Chat Blanc and Ephemeral's consequences can still possibly happen since one of it's causes was them being in a romantic relationship, as well as revealing their identities with one another.
And even them not being together, we've seen in jubilation how Monarch can still manipulate them using their love for each other.
She's just rlly scared to be with him because she wants to protect him and everybody else.
Adrien’s love is a feather gently falling onto a pillow. Slow, sweet, he could see his trajectory long before reaching it and had a nice time on the way down.
Marinette’s love is getting hit by a truck. Didn’t see it coming, pissed off at the driver, and now she’s disoriented and writhing in pain while he gets away.
They are yin and yang in every way. And I love them both for it.
