New head wrap for my folk costume just dropped!
It’s an old table cloth, but it’s perfect!

Little lace sculptures, the latest in lace fashion!
Hyperfixation so bad people think of me when they see it
I just finished my needle lace sampler!
It’s not perfect, but practice makes progress. Now it’s time to move on to other, bigger projects. Stay tuned.
I had an idea, that I was going to make bobbin lace outside, to inspire people to come in and try it. Didn’t quite work out the way I wanted it to, and I don’t think people noticed. But win some, lose some.
Gonna spend some time showing off my crafting skills next week.
Gotta have something to show the people.
These are my designs.
Tiny little one night needle lace project!
The mother of foam.
I’ve finally finished this lace shawl that I’ve designed myself. It’s been about two years of work.
I tried to combine as many wavy patterns as possible, using a Haapsalu yarn from Estonia.
I got a big boost of energy to start projects now in January. It might be the light coming back.
This one is called Skavd. It means worn down or chafed. It’s not quite finished yet, I just need the big tendon going across the wrist. But it will make for a cool spring accessory!
Hello friendos!
Just popping by to say thanks to everyone who reblogged my Skör skull post (even the Danes telling me it means crazy in Danish) because it just got an acknowledgment in the art publication Colossal! And they said they saw it on tumblr! Thank you!!
New piece! Am calling her “Skör” (fragile in Swedish).
Assembled from strips of lace, a doily, and some fiddly needle lace and crochet for the teeth. Starched with diluted wood glue.
Perfect in time for Halloween!
New finished project! A self drafted, knitted cape, for those chilly summer dawn walks.
New made lace, of my own design. If you start from the middle you can go with the flow.
Me, actually finishing a project? Inconceivable!
