yeah
I just read a tag somewhere that went something like "My flavour of ace is whore in theory and celibate in practice" and I have never felt so seen happy pride month besties
Hey did you know they flirt with you on dating apps?
Wild thought. How did I not think this through
Pleasee tell me why I’ve had this EXACT experience before?? It’s always good in theory and then it’s a reality and it’s like ᴼʰ ⁿᵒ ⁿᵉᵛᵉʳ ᵐᶦⁿᵈ
Had to share this gem from my twitter tl
“I’m like, ‘Okay, she’s a doll. She’s a plastic doll. She doesn’t have organs. If she doesn’t have organs, she doesn’t have reproductive organs. If she doesn’t have reproductive organs, would she even feel sexual desire?’ No, I don’t think she could,” Robbie said. “She is sexualized. But she should never be sexy. People can project sex onto her. Yes, she can wear a short skirt, but because it’s fun and pink. Not because she wanted you to see her butt.”
Margot Robbie said Ace Barbie Rights with her whole chest.
Crowley and Aziraphale are the gray-asexual representation we deserve. In this essay I will…
Aspec representation is important because kids are still told in health class that everyone feels attraction
Aspec representation is important because somewhere in the world there’s a 12 year old crying because they feel broken
Aspec representation is important because I still get told “that’s not real” when I come out
Aspec representation is important because people still think the A in LGBTQIA+ stands for ally
Aspec representation is important because everyone deserves to see someone like them on screen
Aspec representation is important because people still think that asexual and aromantic are the same thing
Aspec representation is important
Well, our social studies teacher just gave the topics for our essays...
And one of them is: Love - bodily need or moral virtue
...
Should I?
Why does it feel like I don’t see a lot of discussions about T J Klune in the queer but specifically aspec book circles? I’m not sure if any of his books have explicitly ace characters yet but I personally find it comforting to read a book written by someone like me.
I feel like I see a lot of stuff by the same authors (which I love, no shade to them or anything) but it’s nice to have another person to put in the aspec column, ya know?
