Reblog and put in the tags a book you expected to really love based on premise, but it ended up disappointing you by its poor execution

#we hunt the flame#unpopular opinion right here#it was a dnf for me#i WILL give it another shot but istg the way the enemies to lovers is handled just pisses me off#it just makes not goddamn sense to have the main character react the way she did after the other main character did what he did UGH#just thinking about it makes me angry-#was loving the book but couldn’t get past that and also i the forced found family#anyhow on paper this book should’ve been a favourite but it wasn’t#i’m still gonna try to read it again mostly bc i paid for it and i don’t wanna lose my money :/
