how do you shade your work? it’s so flawless!
I sort of start off with the base colours- like a big block of colour for each section, and then I render each section individually before moving onto the next section etc. I pick shading colours based on the base colour of the section; I build up the shading with different tones, either more saturated and darker versions of the colour of the section or using greyer (is that a word) versions of the base colour. Also I generally don’t use the blend tool like at all, I just render using a pencil-y brush.
Oh and also, for highlights, make them more desaturated- so more grey-ish also
I’m aware I’m not explaining this well, so I’ll try and chuck in the Timelapse of it
