The Dark Crystal is one of my favorite movies of all times. I am a huge Jim Henson fan and I did watch the new Dark Crystal netflix series. Loved every minute. :D

I'm sure subconsciously the gelflings influenced my winged/ PAKless distant future au Irkens.

Though between her first and second swarms, Mem has about 11 fliers. All 4 of her daughters just happened to be born with wings.

Natural male Irken wings are a little prettier. Gotta color her boy fliers in asp.

The wings I give ancient or PAKless Irkens are based off ladybug wings (or dragonflies if the figure is a tall Irken). Their clothing is a loose, messy blend of the cloak Zim was wearing in... issue 3 I think, of the IZ comics, ancient Greek/ ancient Egyptian clothing and Korean Hwarang armor.

The clothes Mem and her swarm wears are held together mostly by knots.

Luckily I have a seamstress for a sister-in-law, so clothing for my ocs is something I try to think through as well as have fun with.
