omg
My latest work in progress. Lookin' good in my opinion, considering the fact that I suck at sewing and I burnt myself with the glue gun several times. XD
Some of the sea shell necklaces I have made for myself. The shells include some beach-combed scallop shells from Sanibel Island, Florida, a fossil ammonite more than 100 million years old (ammonites went extinct with the dinosaurs), two Tibetan metal conch shells, a cone shell, a bunch of cowries (some with African glass beads), and a glass cabochon of a painting of an endangered chambered nautilus (please don’t buy chambered nautilus shells; the animals have no international protections and are being hunted to extinction).
Finally wire wrapped the piece of sea glass that AJ found me so now I can wear it as a pendant. Also made a beachy anklet. ^^
Beach Treasures, Kat share moments
:D !!!
Starting my DIY underwater bedroom with a sea shell initial. On this letter I have shells from St. Augustine in Florida, Charleston in South Carolina, and the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Thank you so much to my good friends @trinamason @sp1cy_gingger382 and @m_ttimoe for collecting these for me, y’all are the best 💙🐬🐚
