I'm not a porn bot, my blog title is like this to troll @madnessiseverything
Holiday strategies
- "I feel like shit and I don't want to give it to anyone" (do not specify why you feel like shit and turn off read receipts beforehand so you can reply three hours later to sadly report you laid down for a second and just woke up)
- "The car won't start and I can't find anybody to fix it on the holiday" (works best if you live at least an hour away)
- "My boss??? Just called me like??? One of my coworkers projectile vomited all over the room and another one simply???? Did not show up??????? And my boss is like, in tears??????" (You are the good responsible child who put in for their time off to spend it with your beloved family and your work ethic and loyalty now force you to come to your bosses rescue instead of replying "wow, sux" like the news is saying the younger generation is like.)

I know most of tumblr is thinking about the USA right now. but fuck the nz government right now too. tomorrow, the treaty principles bill, the 'worst, most comprehensive breach of Te Tiriti in modern times' is being introduced to parliament early, because there were activations planned country wide and the cowards decided to pull it forwards. fuck this government. a friend of mine had to go home early, crying. I've been in shock all day since it came out.

The Sanitized Lore of Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Tevinter is the heart of slavery in Thedas. This lore has been established in every game, novel, comic, and other extended material in the Dragon Age franchise to date that so much as mentions the nation. But in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, when we are finally able to actually visit this location for the first time… this rampant slavery we’ve heard so much about is nowhere to be found. It’s talked about here and there; Neve mentions The Viper has a history of freeing slaves, as does Rook themselves if they choose the Shadow Dragon faction as their origin, for example. But walking down the streets of Minrathous, you’d never know. Because Dragon Age: The Veilguard, for all its enjoyment otherwise, has one glaring issue: It’s too clean.
you guys don’t understand how much these fictional stories and fictional characters fill me up with joy and make this insane stuff we’re going through bearable
