Day 3: Googly Eyes
I apparently commented this on someone’s fanfiction while almost unconscious and had no memory of this event until today, a week and a half later, when the author responded to that comment and I got the experience of reading my own writing for the first time. I, too, will be thinking about this for the rest of my life.
ID: “you wrote: ‘this is my CUPS OF SNAKES baby. thanks for a great fic!!!’
Futureboy responded: ‘Thank you for this comment! I will think about that phrase for the rest of my life. I love it.’” End ID.

Why do leaves turn colors before they fall off the tree
The color a leaf turns is an indicator to how the leaf died:
- Red- Old age
- Orange- Mafia hit
- Yellow- Vehicular manslaughter (non-alcohol-related)
- Brown- Eaten by bugs
- Tan- Syphilis
- White- Consumed by fungi
- Black- Burned for heresy
- Crosshatched black and white- A Gorey death of ennui
- Purple- Poisoned by the Queen of Thorns
- Beet-Leaf Chartreuse- Said "Beet Chartreuse" three times
- Clear- That was not a leaf, the tree was learning glass blowing
- Green- Electrocution and/or drug overdose
- Candy vermilion with gold glitter- Pride
Still yellow but matte instead of glossy.

There's wholesome ships and there's toxic ships, but I'd like to coin 'sodium chloride ships', where the individuals involved are both horrible and dangerous people, but somehow being together renders them surprisingly well-adjusted (if a little salty).
The opposite of this is a 'coke and mentos' dynamic, where the two people are generally chill and likeable but being around each other makes them both wild and chaotic.
Here's the breakdown:
Oh... yeah. Yeah, you got me there.
They warned me about the nature of humanity. They told me dog.
John Salt (British, 1937-2021), Black Ford in Field, 1972. Oil on canvas, 48 x 72 in.
Looked up the artist and this is just all he did for decades. Unbelievably realistic paintings of broken down cars parked on roadsides. They're made by projecting photos onto the canvas and using an airbrush and stencils to carefully reproduce the image without any brushstrokes. Some of his paintings would take years to complete.
