FFXIV Shenanigans

Wuk Lamat knew Meowdred pretty well by the end of Dawntrail, but the two biggest impressions of him that she had as like, a person, were when:

He sat squished to her side without saying anything when they were riding the air balloon and she was terrified of height.

She asked him, "What made you keep adventuring?" and perhaps for the first time since they met, Meowdred smiled in a way that made his entire face light up, and he replied, "Because I love this star."

Meowdred stood to approximately the middle of Wuk Lamat's biceps, dressed in blacks with a comical wide-brimmed pointy hat. He jingled softly when he walked. But somehow, when he actually opened his mouth, it felt to Wuk Lamat like she was talking to someone of comparable gravity to Gulool Ja Ja.

When the party is falling apart in some unexpectedly hard alliance raid and I'm just a black mage.

Meowdred has Hrothgar ancestry, so his nails are Actual Claws -- they're the first joint of his fingers, that is.

Most people don't notice because he likes wearing gloves and also files them down a LOT due to spending the majority of his time crafting or writing. But if Meowdred flexed his hands a certain way, it gave the impression that his nails extended.

Theodore wasn't surprised because a lot of Moon Miqo'te (in my headcanon) also had the same trait. But he just figured Meowdred had Moon Miqo blood.

Nah. Meowdred tanned in strong sunlight, and then dark tiger stripes started appearing on his back and his cheeks, like Y'shtola's markings but stronger. His tail started taking on a tabby pattern like his hair, too.
