Hi, my name is Saeed, I am 19 years old, I live in an unjust reality, the war on Gaza.

This war destroyed my ambitions to study engineering and robbed me of everything beautiful in my life that I lived with my family that embraced me, my father, mother, brothers, sisters and nephews. We had a beautiful house with its simplicity, where we lived a simple and beautiful life, but in this war our house was completely destroyed, our memories that we preserved and our unknown future, our present is more difficult than you can imagine. Since the outbreak of the war, we have been forcibly displaced to the south of Gaza, in the hope of finding a safer place, but the fact is that there is no safe place in Gaza. After we had lost all our possessions and belongings like our house and our livelihood_ source business were destroyed and damaged 💔 due to the annihilation of our neighborhood.

This photo was taken to the remains and ruins of our house. Nothing has been left for my family to live in nor a source to live on. Now we are living in small tents ⛺ in streets lacking all means of a house.

We re leading unbelievably difficult circumstances due to this injust war on Gaza. Also, We are painfully suffering from the bad living conditions because we lack all necessities and essentials of our daily life. Food, clean drink water, medicine 💊, health care , and other necessities have become scarce and unattainable and this adds to our sufferings and hardship.

In Gaza, life is not just life, it’s a daily struggle for survival. Imagine being a father trying to provide the bare necessities for your family while trapped in a place that imposes impossible choices. For Ahmed this is his reality, a father of three children and an infant born amidst the tragedy of war, living in Gaza and facing an endless battle to secure the essentials.

Every week, it takes $650 just for Ahmed to acquire a modest amount of vegetables, a carton of eggs, and a kilogram of meat. While this amount might seem sufficient to some, in Gaza it barely covers their basic needs. His little daughter, Ronza, requires diapers and milk - the cost of diapers alone is $80, while two cans of milk amount to $27.40. These are simple necessities, but they come at a hefty price in a place where the siege has skyrocketed prices.

The hardest decision? Ahmed cannot meet all their needs. Between buying food and caring for his infant, he has to make choices, each one leaving him with feelings of guilt and anxiety about what comes next. Additionally, Ahmed cannot obtain cash in hand due to a lack of liquidity and the closure of banks in the country. Even when liquidity is available, he pays a 20 to 30 percent fee to access the funds needed to provide for his family.

But his story is not just about needs; it’s about the courage of a father facing an unimaginable ordeal. He is a voice calling for hope in a place where it is scarce. no matter the result of the election today, my friend Hala @hala-15 will be displaced in Egypt with her young son Abdul Aziz. Abdul Aziz was born with a condition called hirschsprung's disease, in which the nerves in the colon do not form properly. Children with hirschsprung's disease are not able to pass waste, and can die from terrible blockages in their intestines.

Abdul Aziz needs surgery to remove the affected part of his colon so that he can poop. voting or not voting will not help him. what will help him is if we can raise money for Hala to pay for his surgeries. Hala had raised almost 500 euro on gofundme, when gofundme did a massive purge of Palestinian fundraiser, and Hala's account was deleted with no warning, and all the money was returned to donors.

From Gaza to Europe: A Young Girl's Dream Finally Coming True!

Before the genocidal war on Gaza, I was immersed in the university life and enjoying studying English literature at the Islamic University in Gaza (IUG), which was utterly destroyed by Isr*ael. They desroyed the place which helped me find my passion in this life: performing on stage in English.

My family and I have been displaced multiple times and we ended up now in a tent that does not protect us from any bullets, shrapnel or the cold and rain of winter. I have never thought I would have to live such hellish conditions at the age of 20, an age at which I was expecting to be studying at university and enjoying the company of my friends like any other girls my age around the world!!!

Amid the pain, horrors of war and many near death experiences, luckily, I was awarded a scholarship to do a BA in English Language and Literature at Mary Immaculate College in Ireland. A glimmer of hope shone in my sky, happiness rushed strongly through my veins, and a voice within me roared: "A unique destiny awaits you, Sarah. Seize this opportunity, honor your people abroad, and use your talent to tell the world about Palestine and touch their hearts."

I texted both my family and Sarah today in central Gaza (Nusairat). Last night was unbeleivably scary as the bombardment intesified. From my firsthand experience, the bombardment intenifies when the tanks prepare to invade an area. They scum tanks and soldiers invaded part of Nusairat yesterday as expected!

Bothe Sarah and my mother told me today that the people in Gaza are on the verge of a famine. There is no flour, vegetables, or pretty much anything to eat in the market! If there is anything to eat, it is at least 10 times more expensive. Do I need to mention that the lives of people in Gaza is frozen now? No work! No schools! No universities! No nothing!!
