Bakugo was late for movie date night after a long day at work but he wasn’t about to miss it. Unfortunately it was a long day and he just couldn’t stay up. Kirishima doesn’t mind he’s just happy every time Bakugo comes home.

The KiriBaku Calendar

What if we organize a calendar with all the “special dates” KiriBaku could have so we draw fanarts or write fanfics according to the occasion?

What if we organize a calendar with all the “special dates” KiriBaku could have so we draw fanarts or write fanfics according to the occasion?

  • May 1st: “Ichi-Go day”. It’s strawberry time!! As you should know by now, on the fourth opinion poll in Boku No Hero most popular character, Bakugo was the winner, so the first one (ichi in Japanese) and Kirishima the fifth one (go in Japanese). If you put those two words together, you can read “Ichigo” that is strawberry in Japanese.
  • February 2nd: “The King & The Dragon”. Date of publication of the third light novel, where it was confirmed that Kirishima was the Bakugou’s dragon that comes out in one of the anime’s endings.
  • February 14th: “Valentine’s Day”. I wonder who would give more chocolates to the other that day (in Japan, girls are normally the ones to give chocolates, but in their case it’d be a dilemma, maybe?)
  • March 14th: “White Day”. In Japan this is the day in which boys return the gesture they received on Valentine’s Day.
  • April 14th: “Catch up, Kirishima!” Manga Chapter 133, where Kirishima thinks about Bakugou’s words and manages to obtain “Unbreakable” mode!
  • April 20th: Bakugou’s birthday.
  • May 1st: “Ichigo day II”. The same but on a reversed date. I mean, why not?
  • May 16th: “Reach out!“ Manga Chapter 90, Bakugou’s rescue, where he takes Kirishima’s hand with no doubt
  • June 27th: "LGBT Pride Day”. Why not x2?
  • August 3rd: “Two heroes” the movie. The release date in Japan. Do I need to explain it?
  • August 17th: This is the “KiriBaku Day” Japanese fans established. Apparently, they considered the number of their seats, Kirishima being number 8 and Bakugou being number 17
  • October 16th: Kirishima’s birthday
  • October 31th: “Halloween”. You already know, everything related to Bakugou in a Werewolf costume and Kirishima as Little Red Riding Hood!
  • December 25th: Merry Christmas! Presents, mistletoes, all of that and lots of cheesy things!
  • December 31th: Happy New Year!

Who knows what’s waiting for us on 2019, but I think these are KiriBaku’s most relevant dates by now, right? If anyone comes up with any other date, feel free to say it!

This is more like a personal project, but I wanted to share it, anyway, although I don’t know if there will be people agreeing or not, I just want to see how far it goes!
