everytime I am trying to find UMAs for a dragon I get turned away by the bat shit insane system that flight rising has made for them

in the wolf game, if I am looking for a custom decor I open the databank, tick "only show public decor" scroll through and then just buy what I like. Artists pay a one time price to have their decor listed and people can then just buy directly from the site

in flight rising, I gotta look through the data base, once I found something I like, check the AH just too find it empty and then I have to manually look the artist up cause if you click the name in the database it will just bring up their other skins.

Hope the artist has the skin shop in their profile, and then try to decipher their skin shop, first find the skin i was looking for and then pray to all gods that its just shelved and not retired tho half the time that's unclear anyway.

And then every single artist has different rules for printing shelved skins and different prices to the original release

Normally I check a single skin and then just give up because who has the time, nerves or patience.

Just to be clear, I am not complaining about the artist's and their systems but the insane system flight rising has in place to make all this necessary. The user drawn decor system is one of the very very very few things flight rising does so much worse than other similar pet games.

#OP you are speaking my language #i would not only make so many more accents / skins if there was a dedicated marketplace feature to simply stock them in #but i would not retire all of them the way that i currently do #the main reason i do that is i'm very anxious about tracking orders and payment properly in the clunky system we've got to work with #and just do not want to do it indefinitely ( managing large numbers of accents through CRs in particular is the worst thing in the world )#i've actually considered hiring someone to manage the 'shopfront' and stock aspect of my accent making #but instead i just closed shop sdlkfj

could you tell me about crow ? her bio mentions that she is very strict ; does she have a soft spot for anyone or anything ?

Crow is the Sanctum's treasurer and is in charge of the clan's community hoard. Because she is strict and meticulous about everything, she comes off to most people as very intimidating and unapproachable. However, she does have a softer side, though very few have seen it.

That softer side of her comes out most often around Mathias, who regularly visits her when they're back home from their various courier missions. On the outside, their personalities seem like they would clash, but they both have vital roles in the clan and are very passionate and careful about their jobs. They've bonded over this shared interest and the fact that their work overlaps regularly (if, for example, the clan is paying for something from another region, Mathias would be in charge of collecting the money from Crow and delivering it/coming back with the purchase). She knows he's trustworthy and has a lot of respect for them because of that.

Mathias tends to bring her gifts in the form of baked goods from around Sornieth as well, which is always a good pick-me-up on stressful days.

#her relationship with mathias sounds so sweet #like from the outside people might not think they mean that much to each other #but they've become an undeniable aspect of what the other considers home #thank you for sharing ! here's a sketch of crow in return ♥

I’ve gotten better at rendering quickly. Hour and a half on this one.

with my newfound lair space i decided to hatch one (1) egg as a treat . they're pretty neat ! i think i want to make them a snapper because i have wanted one for a while , but i still need to mess around with scries .
