Ok, a few notes on these designs. Maxime and I both like Anole and Pixie so much that the designs were agreed from the beginning, but with these 2 we made a couple of changes:
-For Gentle, I first thought of earth tones and greens and Maxime suggested a tuareg deep blue. I tried both, and the earth tones one looked too militaristic… not good for Nezhno. I think the orage helps keeping it a bit bright and at the same time, it looks tribal. -Hellion was a bit easier, we agreed on a “tuxedo” look, and from there we went golf club, the deep violet hints a bit at the classic Hellions look. Nezhno Abidemi a.k.a. Gentle Nezhno is not the cold, calm and collected young guy burdened by his own powers. During the Atlantis/Wakanda conflicts he became a war hero, after killing Namor and almost losing his life in order to save his majesty Tchalla. As a reward, wakandan scientists have created a new vibranium-based paint, mixed with dust from the Celestials, to help him contain his powers at will.This and his newfound statut as a world-known hero has totally transformed the young boy into a joyful man, finally relieved ot the ship on his shoulder. He now takes pleasure in acting relentelessly, and remains confident and proud, sometimes bordering on arrogance. His role in the Atlantis/Wakandan conflict has created a rift between him and former classmate Alani Ryan a.k.a. Loa. His powers allow him to increase his size, strenght and speed seemingly without limit. He is the energic powerhouse of the X-FORCE unit He is now called....JUGGERNAUGHT!
