Rana @ranamohammed has had an excruciating year.
The occupation destroyed her home, her livelihood, her community, and her family. Two of her young children were martyred when the occupation bombed their home.
Being unable to make a living, Rana, her husband, and their two surviving children are extremely desperate. They are displaced with no resources, and they have no money to purchase increasingly scarce food.
They’ve created a campaign to survive, but they have not yet received a single donation. Please support them as best you can, and share their campaign so it receives more visibility.
Thank you❤️

I'm not actually sure if posts / fundraiser pages that contain photos and videos of children tend to raise more money, but god, I almost hope not
imagine being a parent trying to restrain the urge to rush to comfort your children because you think a video of them suffering might convince someone to help them. or a woman who normally doesn't post photos for religious reasons having to weigh your principles against the idea that posting a photo might help you get something to eat. or one of these children growing up, knowing that these photos are out there & that they can be seen and shared around by the very people who want to exterminate them.
when Mohammed went to try to salvage something from his destroyed home, he made sure to take lots of photos and videos in between being shot at by IOF soldiers so that he could prove he had done everything he could to try to provide his family with winter supplies before he turned to the internet.
we need to start sharing and giving regardless of how attractive, convincing, well-worded, or emotionally affecting a post is. we cannot keep forcing people to make these kinds of choices to try to get help

Single mother of 6 in URGENT NEED of GROCERIES in north Gaza🥖🥦🍉
Ibtisam Al-Habil needs mutual aid for groceries in north Gaza!
Ibtisam has been raising her children on her own since her husband was martyred by the occupation in 2014. Then in 2023, they did the same to her eldest son. She cannot work due to the invasion, and her financial needs are compounded by the cost of treatment for three of her children, a minor and two young adults, who are both temporarily and permanently disabled.
The blockade of north Gaza continues to drive famine among residents. Food is extremely scarce, and what little is available in the markets comes at highly inflated prices. The latest reports I have received on grocery prices from people in north Gaza are as follows:
1kg of Garlic - $80
1kg of Onions - $65
1kg of Potatoes - $40
1kg of Tomatoes - $56
1kg of Lemons - $23
1kg of Zucchini/Courgette - $24
1kg of Molokhia (similar to spinach)- $10
1kg of Green Peppers - $219
1kg of Eggplant/Aubergine - $16
1kg of Okra - $45
1kg of Cucumbers - $32
1kg of Apples - $47
1kg of Guava - $39
1kg of Avocado - $74
1kg of Sugar - $44.50
1 litre of frying/cooking oil/sirj - $23
1kg of rice - $19
1 plate of eggs - $224
loz of coffee - $27
It is extremely difficult, often impossible, for people in north Gaza to afford these prices. Failure to do so results in their starvation.
You can help a Ibtisam’s family by donating funds to their campaign. Ibtisam is struggling to find food for her children, and they often go entire days without eating. Any funds you give right now will go directly toward purchasing food so the family can survive! You can help feed a family right now with just a few clicks!
Please do not delay, Ibtisam and her family are currently starving!!! They are in urgent need of food RIGHT NOW!!!
Help Khalid Sisters in Gaza not to be Homeless
Hello Dear,
We, (Najwa, Jana, Farah, and Maryam), are the sisters of Shaheed Khalid Saed Ash-Shawwah, who was martyred on 07/31/24 along with Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul and his colleague, photographer Rami Al-Rifi . Khalid was our older and only brother and he was a great support for us and others. As you may heard Khalid’s story in the news, he was bombed while he was riding his bicycle coming back from delivering food to our old and injured neighbors.
Before the IDF forces killed our brother Khalid, they forced us to evacuate our house and left everything behind. They then destroyed our house and our father’s restaurant. We had to move at least 10 times since every new area we seek refuge to gets bombed.
Currently, the 4 of us and our parents, are living devastating and sad life in a bombed room in Gaza. It is extremely difficult for us to get the basic needs of food, water, and shelter.
We sincerely hope you can empathize with our dire situation and consider supporting us. We are raising funds in order to be able to pay the rising cost of basic necessities in north Gaza. Our family is large and the cost of survival in north Gaza is astronomical. If you have anything you can spare, we implore you to support us. From where you are right now, you personally can help save our lives in north Gaza.
Please donate and/or replog 🥺🙏🇵🇸
Please reblog our post, follow us @khalid-Sisters and boost our posts, and repost the link to our campaign across all your social media.
Your generosity has the power to make a significant difference, and will give us hope that there will a better future waiting for us once the war stops.
We ask God to bless you and your families and to protect you all from all calamities and to never make you feel or go through what we are going through.
The sisters’ campaign has been verified by olagaza. They have a legitimate need and we ask our followers to please support them.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃 👻 💜 🧡
hey friends! this is a vetted and verified fundraiser shared with me by a good friend of mine, Egyptian artist and animator Noran Fikri, who is one of Lana's close friends in Egypt:
I am sending you this message as a desperate attempt to raise some money for my best friend Lana who is in Gaza right now. I can’t bear to watch her suffer and do nothing. I talk to her everyday and the situation has worsened a lot this month. Every time I call her I can hear the bombs very close to her and she showed me how her hands are constantly shaking from the trauma. Her 1-year-old son Mohammed is suffering from malnourishment and very severe diaper rashes. There has been an aid blockade for 20+ days in the south of Gaza and everything is extremely expensive. Just one diaper pack is 100$ and it runs out very quickly. She sometimes has to just soak some bread in water just to feed her son and herself. Whenever I talk to her she always talks about death being so close and how she is wishing for it to escape the fear and suffering she has to live through everyday. Motherhood is hard enough, I can’t begin to imagine a young mother (23 yo) living through the first year of parenthood like that. Despite this all this, Lana tries to smile and joke around with me to hide her pain. She tries to get back to her studies to get her degree in Psychology. She used to be the youngest playwright in the biggest theatre in all of Gaza and now she is trying to write a book about her experience in the war despite the depression and terror. She has an instagram account where she documents everything: https://www.instagram.com/lana_hazem2 I really want to help her and I ran out of ways to do that, and I am really hoping to appeal to your kind hearts, if you can spare any amount for her.
This is the link for the fundraiser, which is notably about Lana's son, Muhammed:
their goal is 50k CAD (which is around 36k USD). There are more options for donations for people inside Egypt, and a Paypal link (in case anyone encounters those out in the wild) as well, but for simplicity's sake I'm only sharing the gofundme here.
It's been up since June and very stagnant, so I'm hoping to raise a lot this week as a surprise for both Noran and Lana.
Please donate if you can, and share if you can't. Since this is primarily for expenses (such as milk, clothing and tent supplies) even the smallest amount would be a huge relief for Lana and her family. Thank you!!
hi!! some wonderful people made some big donations, but even so we're only at 8% of the goal! it would be really nice for lana to have some security for basic supplies (milk, diapers, food) over this week, so please help us hit at least 10k?
In the name of humanity, I am telling you to read my whole story 🙏
I am Issam From Gaza🍉, I have been suffering from the war for a whole year, but my suffering is more severe than others.
I husband and father of three children, the eldest of whom is my son, Muhammad Scott Awam, then Nada, who is seven years old, and the last of whom is young, Amir, who is in employment.
My house was bombed while I and my family were inside it. I lost my wife, my son Muhammad, and my daughter Nada, and my young child, Amir, came out from under the rubble with many injuries, and I lost my arms and feet. There is nothing left for my little child, Amir, except me. His mother and brothers have died, and I am now undergoing treatment because my condition is still under care. I will not leave the hospital because I need care first and foremost. I am now in dire need of treatment outside Gaza so that I can install prosthetic limbs so that I can support my son, as he has no support in this life now except me.
I ask you to look with mercy and compassion on my little child, who is not yet two years old, who lost his mother and siblings and now lives alone, far from his father, who is staying in the hospital. I hope that you will donate to us so that we can live and I can support my child and take him abroad in order to save what is left of my family and I can install artificial limbs, as they are expensi

Ghazzawi fundraiser priority list!
These are fundraisers that my vetter Mohammed Ayesh has told me are high priority either due to the low amount of funds or due to the situation the person is in. If you donate to any of these, please leave a screenshot below so to encourage others to donate to the fundraiser!

Hossam Bardaweel: Hossam has lost his parents and all his siblings, and is now left to care for his siblings' children and widows on his own. He needs help supporting them while grieving the loss of his family to genocide.
Namer Matar: Namer has lost his baby due to a sudden illness that affected his newborn twins. The family is devastated, and his wife is struggling with postpartum in conditions of genocide while grieving her newborn.
Mohammed Matar: Mohammed's entire future as a water infrastructure engineer, and the company he was setting the building blocks for are all gone. He now has to care for his children and his wife struggling with postpartum in conditions of genocide.
Rania Youssef: Rania's father was the breadwinner of the family. He suffered from an untreated chronic illness that took his life during the acceleration of the genocide. She needs help taking care of her family while they grieve this immense loss.
Maha Madhoun: Eman's elderly mother enduring chronic illnesses without access to vital medication. Their escape from the relentless bombardment of warplanes, dodging bullets and navigating through a sea of injured and deceased, is a haunting ordeal etched into their memory.
