I have been waiting for this for DAYS. Remember that project I was talking about? Well... I managed to get it all done. And let's just say... I went nuts with it. This is the most amount of digital stuff I've done in one go... and I STILL had ideas going!

I decided to do only these though so I wouldn't burn out. And I am SO happy with how they turned out!

One thing to note is that today is also the day that I officially joined Tumblr. It's been such a crazy and amazing year being here and meeting so many sweet people; I honestly didn't think I'd love it here as much 😅. Here's to hoping this second year is just as good. ❤️

Always wondering where Luigi was in Super Mario Sunshine ? Well, I do have some personal headcanons for you for the DLC/ Expansion pack we’ll never have. Basically, Super Luigi Sunshine is taking place shortly before the event of Super Mario Sunshine, where Luigi is taking vacation with Daisy on the Isle Granchio ( the Crab Island near Isle Delfino ), aboard the Daisy Cruiser from Mario Kart Double Dash, in parallel to Peach’s jet from the original game. When they arrive, they found Elvin Gadd on vacation too, after the event of Luigi’s Mansion, who’s a testing some of his newest invention, including a magic brush, who’s planning to sell to a famous artist on the Island. But shortly after their meeting, A “dark shadow” arrive and steal one of his invention and cause mayhem on the whole Island. It’s now up to Luigi, with the help of Daisy and E.Gadd to fix everything and find back the Shine Sprite before the whole Island fall into darkness and paint ! Luigi wanted to have some rest, but he’s now charged to help E.Gadd to clean the whole Island. For this, he’ll have to use E.Gadd emergency tool : The F.L.U.D.D 00. It’s basically F.L.U.D.D., but it can only spray water and cleans things… yeah, it’s mainly a prototype. but no worry, that good ol’ scientist is already working on some upgrade, it should be fully operational during the adventure. This little gadget is sadly not equipped of an A.I, it’s E.Gadd who’ll talk to you via a communicator and give you the instruction. Since Daisy isn’t part of the “bad guy’s plan”, she not kidnapped at all. Good for her ! She’ll help Luigi in every mission she can, being a very recurring NPC, giving advice about the current place and sometimes be part of the action during special events ( Sports, Boss fight, etc ), and sometime find Shine Sprite before Luigi ! She’s still in vacation, though, and will try to make in sort that Luigi take a break sometimes with her, sort of mini game style. E.Gadd really wanted things to go correctly and take a well deserved vacation, but since he lost his magic Paint brush who really costed way too much to him, he really can’t let such events of debt happens. Of course, Luigi will help him to finds Shine Sprite and coins ( mainly coins ), but he will do his best to help our green mustached guy ! He’s already working on upgrades, and he’s analyzing the whole island the best he can. Mario © Nintendo Artwork and Concept made by me.

A shocking blow by the enemy. One that caught many by surprise. But it was all directed first at the flower Princess.

The Mushroom Princess would let out a gasp. The Red-Cap Hero would wince and flinch.

But the Green-Cap Hero would feel as if his heart stopped.

Was she okay? She was knocked over!

But all uncertainty would cut away, the moment the Flower Princess would will her entire being to stand up. How could she do that?!

For the taller Green Plumber. It suddenly felt like a spark burst to life within him once again. Watching as this force of nature stared down at her enemy directly. It was as if he saw a sharp, steely glint through her gaze, which made him shiver.

Then it was her voice that cut through loud and clear. Nothing held back.

“Yo! Is that all you got? Bring…It…On!”

Today's song is also from Estopa's latest album, Estopía, released last March. In this case, I'm sharing this song not only because I love it, but also because it makes me think of Princess Daisy...

I've always thought she must've felt all alone in Sarasaland while most of her friends and her boyfriend/husband live in the Mushroom Kingdom, and this notion has only increased after reading my dear friend @bberetd's story. Still, she's always there for them, for Peach, for Mario... for Luigi. She loves them, and she always has so much fun when she's with them they don't really get to see the sadness that lies within...

Just, this song is so important to me. I still remember the many feelings and emotions I experienced the first time I listened to it and how I was like "Ouch" 🥲 This one truly hurt, and to this day I still get VERY emotional whenever I listen to it... including the concerts as they sang this one in both concerts I've attended this year. Besides, they do it with such sentiment, with such emotion, pouring their hearts and souls into every word and note, that I can't help but feel my heart breaking...

I've been listening to Estopa ever since I was 8 and I'm sure that I'm not mistaken when I say this is one of the BEST songs they've ever created in their entire career.

Dang, that's a pretty sad thought. Daisy feeling alone in her kingdom most of the time when the people she loves the most are out of reach.
