An Elasmosaurus from an 1869 illustration by Edward Drinker Cope, who at the time confused the reptile’s neck for its tail, where one faces off against Dryptosaurus which at the time was known as Laelaps while in the background a hadrosaur is seen eating
“Reptiles and an Amphibian of the New Red Sandstone Period” by Josep Smit, 1894, the closeup here shows Hyperodapedon and on the whole drawing you can also see its relative Rhynchosaurus in the background, a huge Mastodonsaurus in the middle and in the lower right a tiny Telerpeton
