I think… everyone was surprised. But we weren’t. In a battle lasting 0.1 seconds, it was only these two who didn’t waver even a millimetre at the twins’ insanely fast back attack. Boromir Lives AU where he’s appointed King Elessar’s Chief Liaison to the Periannath, based at rebuilt Fornost. Because of the decree that forbids Men from entering the Shire, Merry and Pippin resort to increasingly ludicrous methods of smuggling him over the border to visit. The one where Boromir spent a good week or so shuffling about on his knees, wearing a shawl over his head, pretending to be Great-Auntie Tunnelly from Staddle, is the very least of them.
