And oh I didn't realise the Misa getup wasn't exclusively Matoba. Do you think Nanase dresses as Misa sometimes? Actually wait I just thought of the funniest idea... Natori having to wear the Misa outfit to assist Matoba.

Or Natsume too could be funny... Matoba already got him to pretend to be his shiki, I could see him trying to get him to act as Kuromisa

Ooh Shigeru lore! I figured he was supposed to be some kind of architect/draftsman given the scroll case he carries sometimes in the anime and the technical drawing equipment he had in his room, but I think this is the first time we've seen him talk abt his work/had actual confirmation on it. Neat!

Also Shigeru implies that he would've gone with Natsume if he hadn't had work and Man can you imagine. Natsume has enough trouble keeping Tanuma out of it, imagine him trying to keep his normie dad from getting dragged into youkai business at the exorcist auctions.

Ooh yay my copy of vol 30 arrived! It's Kuromisa time ;)

Anyway. the shot framing/direction was really good this ep, so much cool visual symbolism. Like the bit of the wind blowing and causing natsume to hide his right eye just as matoba was about to mention the youkai can impersonate people, but decided not to mention it? Immaculate. And I loved that it tied back to the train station hangout at the end, instead of just splitting the ep in half
