Hi Max! I love your work and it has pushed me to challenge myself and become better at storyboarding. I think you mentioned possibly teaching a class on how to use the 3D feature in Storyboard Pro and I was just wondering if that was something you still consider doing?

This is something i really want to do and I have been thinking about it quite a bit, recently.. I just need to dedicate a weekend to it but I have some loose ideas of how I'd go about it.

Hi, huge fan of your work on rottmnt! I was wondering if you knew whether or not a renewal of the show was on the table at all? I'm still p upset abt it's cancellation, I think it's such an excellent piece of animation, storytelling, character work, you name it honestly.

Thank you :) I was lucky to be a part of rottmnt and agree that it's a really great piece of animation.
As far as renewals go, I haven't heard of anything but I would assume no. It's hard to revive a production after it's been canned and with a franchise as big as tmnt there's likely a new iteration in development (I'm not speaking with any insider knowledge, just judging from the history of the IP).
I assume by this point it's safe to say that there's a movie in development, so keep an eye out for that (2022, i think?). I'm sure the prospects of rottmnt getting picked back up for streaming would be higher if the movie pulls in a lot of viewers!

Animation based on a series of doodles I did in a cafe many years ago
I drew a few designs on procreate with different iterations of Dale’s transformation. Yes—that’s meant to be an MJ thriller jacket in the second image.
These were early designs for ‘Dog Dale Afternoon’, a lost episode of rottmnt I boarded, written by Ron Corcillo and Russ Carney. You can see a snippet of the animatic on my tumblr.

I shared this on my Twitter a while back before it was hacked and all my old posts were wiped. This was from a lost episode of rottmnt that was cut shortly before I was able to finish. The story (written by Ron & Russ) involved Dale, April and Donnie on a quest to reverse the Baba Yaga’s curse that was slowly transforming Dale into a werewolf. I was really bummed it didn’t get animated but I had a lot of fun working on it! I actually lost the storyboard files, so this is some of the only evidence remaining. Sorry for the low-res!

Character designs I put together quickly for a short animation I’m working on for fun. These are prototype designs for some characters I’ve been developing for a while.. The cats name is Otto and the wolf is Kruger. Taking inspiration from classic japanese animated character designs, for wolf especially.
