It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraiser on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. Tahseen Starving Children Call for Your Support Amid Crises

Hello Dear

My name is Tahseen Alkhazendar from Gaza City - Tal-Alhawa Area . As you are reading my message, my wife, 3 little children, and I are sitting in the north of Gaza City, starving with no food, water, or money. Every morning, my wife and I feel heart broken and disabled, when our children wake up asking us for food which we don't have and unable to provide to them at this time in Gaza.

Before October 7th, I was a successful business man who owned a driving school and graduated from the business management school. I worked hard to secure a decent and happy life to my family, and did my best to raise my children with dignity, pride, and respect. However, once the aggression started on Gaza, we were forced to evacuate our house and left everything behind. I struggle every single day to secure 1 single meal for my children. Specially my older son, Ibrahim, who suffers from the Celiac disease and needs a special food which I am unable to find in Gaza at this current time.

Unfortunately everything I owned is completely lost after my house and business got bombed and destroyed. We are currently suffering slow death in Gaza, sharing a small apartment with other families and living a devastating life.

Dear Humanity,

I am Saba Mohammed. We are a family of 27 members for more than nine months, and we are in war, suffering the most severe hardships. We have been displaced more than ten times in northern Gaza💔 under shelling and fire.

We still suffer from shelling, displacement, and hunger until this moment. We have miraculously survived several times from shelling and numerous injuries, but thanks to everyone, we are still safe until now.

We hope that I and my family remain safe without losing anyone. Due to severe food shortage, I have developed severe dehydration and increased heart rate, which forced me to go to the hospital despite the lack of hospitals and medical facilities for treatment.

The endless crying of children out of fear and hunger, 😢💔 their crying makes us adults cry a lot because of their need for food. The fear of children as they move from place to place and from house to house in search of a safe home cannot be described.😢😢

Their living now amidst destruction is very sad, in addition to the shortage of food and water, and when a vailable, it is unclean and contaminated.

This is How we prepare food now..

Therefore, I implore you to help us provide food, water, and a safe place outside of Gaza for me, my children, and the children in my family. Your support for me and my family is the way out of darkness into light, from death to life.

Guys the situation in Khan Younis is so scary that I don’t even know how to put it into words anymore. All it takes is looking up the city and seeing headlines like “over 100 of bodies ripped to pieces in Khan Younis!” “An Israeli airstrike decimates a house in Khan Younis belonging to x family!” “Even in the midst of ceasefire talks, Israeli forces continue pushing into Khan Younis” for all-consuming anxiety to seize me for all the families that have yet to evacuate. It’s getting so so bad there & yet so many people are still unable to evacuate.

Going to suggest a starting point to help by asking you to donate however much you can (anything helps) to Mohammad and Shaima’s fundraiser. Mohammad is Wafaa’s brother. Wafaa has been in direct contact w multiple ppl on here (me included) about her rapidly deteriorating health. This really is the lifeline for her family (the majority of whom are children) stuck in Khan Younis still. It’s incredibly dehumanizing.

It’s entirely attainable to raise the funds for them, but people keep falling off bc unfortunately a lot of them are desensitized to genocide. We should be pushing this rn more than we ever were.

I get that you’re probably like “ANOTHER fundraiser post” but like… just get over it and do your part. I’m kind of realizing that I refuse to coddle people about this anymore tbh. You should donate and share this bc it’s the right thing to do, not bc it played to your heartstrings or your savior complex. You should share it because you should, the same way you should drink water every day. That’s really all.

Also starting to think that a lot of you just like to point and gawk at what you perceive to be dirty Arabs going through typical third world country things ….. like it’s not a coincidence that posts w shock factor always get more notes than do donation posts that actually help the people suffering. I rly want people to prove me wrong by helping this campaign reach its goal. And remember that everyone would rather pass this fundraiser along than actually do anything, so be the person who not only rbs it but also actually donates (whatever you can! Bc every dollar counts!) to help push it along. The disparity between notes and actual money donated is too stark.
