Stop the clocks, it’s amazing. You should see the way the light dances off your head. A million colours of hazel, golden and red. Saturday morning is fading. The sun’s reflected by the coffee in your hand. My eyes are caught in your gaze all over again. We were love drunk, waiting on a miracle. 

I want to wake up with you beside me in the mornings. I want to spend my evenings looking at you across the dinner table. I want to share every mundane detail of my day with you and hear every detail of yours. I want to laugh with you and fall asleep with you in my arms.

Heart’s still beating, but it’s not working. I reached out trying to love, but I feel nothing. Yeah, my heart is numb.  But with you I feel again. Yeah, with you I can feel again.  I’m feeling better ever since you know me. I was a lonely soul, but that’s the old me.
