prooobably not. tbh I think that Enjolras enjoyed feeling Jean-Claude doing his squirmy-wormy in the womb, but most of the time it would sort of freak him out to look down and OH THERE’S A HAND PUSHING AT MY STOMACH WHAT THE HELL.
The other Amis get a kick outta it though (Pun intended). They like put their hands on E’s tummy and whoever makes contact with the baby first wins

what if, after Enjolras' small citizen is born, Feuilly decides to do the same thing? because ae's always wanted a family, but it seemed so impossible and daunting when Feuilly was all by aerself, but now aer knows the kid would have a ton of aunts and uncles and the biggest happiest family to dote on them (everything Feuilly never had but wanted for aer's own kid). So aer finds a surrogate (maybe someone cool from work? it would have been Marius but he's with Cosette now so no. (1/2)
(2/2) or whoever else really.) And when the kid is born, everyone chips in so that Feuilly can afford to take a few months off work and stay with the baby. And the kids ends up growing up with Enjolras’s little citizen as an older sibling and they’re super cute, but also get into so much trouble, oh my god. (I’m sorry I always wanted this kind of AU!)

Ornery. Mildly neurotic and highly inclined to give his opinion even when he’s not asked. Stubborn as all get-go and doesn’t smile easily, but still very affectionate with his family and friends, prone to try and make the ones around him happy, though he doesn’t show it on his face. When he does smile, it looks exaggerated and fake but it’s not, he’s just so happy he can’t hold it all in a normal smile.

What is Enjolras like as a parent?
Veeeery much a new perant; has no idea what he’s doing, reads a lot of baby books and goes to every class he can, is a little bit always frazzled. But luckily he was that way before and he never was much of a sleeper so he can run perfectly well off of three hours of interrupted sleep. He loves his child more than anything in the world and would do anything for him, even if he has no idea what he’s doing

I’m gonna endeavor to keep the other parent’s identity up in the air because I don’t really wanna focus on it?And I think the pregnancy concept is so broad that people who don’t ship what I ship may want to relate to it too without having their own interpretations glazed over? I do have my own ideas and stuff and there will be some hinting on it but I don’t think I’ll get into them unless explicitly stated or if I reeeeaaaallly wanna explore it. I guess for now it’s just gonna be stated that it’s someone Enjolras knows and trusts, but was asked not to be involved in a paternal way so it’s not horribly touched upon

I’m gonna take a guess and say u meant to hit the t and hit the y right next to it. Savory Javery.
Anyways due to some previously made agreements, Javert tries to stay respectably clear of the whole situation and Enjolras tries to make it as easy on them all by not having Javert alone with Jean-Claude if possible. It doesn't always work, mostly because they run in the same areas with similar crowds (Cosette and Valjean and stuff/The Amis being VERY acquainted with the police’s holding cells), but they do try to get some distance, as decided upon.

oh my god idk how I missed U answering my pregnant Enj ask but I did and im sorry bc that was beautiful pls tell me more about pregnant Enj does he solicit foot rubs from all the amis
YES he pretends he isn’t but Enjolras is a v needy pregnant man. He gets sort of grumpy (Well, MORE grumpy) and his feet always hurt and he won’t lie he likes being pregnant in some ways but in others (dysphoria majorly included) he can’t believe he put himself through it all.
So yeah the Amis try to help out as much as they can; foot massages, carrying really heavy stuff, trying to keep Enjolras away from caffeine. The doctors told E that he should not exert himself too much, which means no grand speeches and energetic protests…which he ignores, so the Amis just make sure he doesn’t go TOO overboard and if he gets arrested it’s almost always Javert who takes him in and tries to see if there's any way to not have him overnight or handled roughly because he quietly cares even when he’s not supposed to technically
Omfg I just imagined: The Amis going to Lamaze/Parenting classes with E. Each week is a different Amis with him and the other parents are like ?????????????????
