mathosapa beads is a lakota small online business and pop up vendor, based in the pacific northwest. i have been beading for 5 years now, and selling my work for 3 years. other than beadwork i work mixed media, collage and acrylic painting, and i am learning to do more digital art. i also sell work made by my mom and grandma, who have been sewing and quilting for over 35 years and over 65 years respectively.

8x speed beading

been prepping some new stuff for my restock on friday, and for our markets this month

some pieces currently sitting in a box waiting to be finished, most of these are from the last couple weeks but 2 are older

we want to do a restock before our next market (the 16th) since we are overdue, what day would yall prefer?

some upcoming markets! 3 of my planned markets are able to make accommodations for me while i recover from my injury so i can still vend at some of my planned events for the season. possibly will be able to vend more depending on how long i am on crutches and general healing time.

next weekend, Nov. 16 i will be at the SIHB Family Saturday market, from 10am-5pm

then Nov 23 + 24, i will be at UIATF Native art Market, from 10am-5pm both days

and in december i will be at the Gay City Fall Market, Dec 15th, 12pm-5pm

i recently injured my ankle and i may be having to miss vending opportunities this month as a result depending on how fast things improve. but regardless i am about to a have a ton of medical bills since i had to go to the emergency room last night, and i will need to have a few follow up appointments.

to try to supplement the income i will be missing from vending, plus help pay for my hospital bills i am running a sitewide sale thru the 23rd of november. you can use “BAS20” at check out for 20% off. if you are planning on doing any holiday shopping and want to support native art this native heritage month, this would be a wonderful time to do so! i have beadwork, prints, stickers, pins, herbals, hand painted patches, and sewn items made by my mom and grandma.
