I'm sorry but no Pixar movie will ever live up to the best one. a hot shot entirely arrogant and egotistical yet ultimately lonely young guy lands up in the middle of a small town before a big race, and having destroyed it's road by accident is now forced to rebuild it? slaps. he meets a beautiful woman who won't take any of his bullshit? wonderful. he realises the old grandpa is a washed up hero that people turned their back on after he came back from an injury, now residing amongst people who love and care for him and he thinks the guy will ruin the town he lives in? dear god I am in love. the young-un meets someone of a sort he once looked down on and they have fun together, and he finally finds a best friend? I will cry. the hotshot falls in love with the town, the town that has long since left the public eye, and the grandpa shows him how self-centred he's been his entire life? please I'm crumbling. the rockstar helps everyone in town, makes them all feel loved and heard and finally feels at home before the paparazzi find him and drag him to his competition, the door closing on his found family just as he's connected with them, all apparently because the grandpa gave them a call? I'm furious! him losing focus at the competition only to hear the grandpa in his headset and go “yeah yeah it's just - wait WHAT” and find that they all came to watch and the grandpa is his coach now all because the best friend didn't get to say goodbye? god I'm squealing with joy! the old dude in his last race ends up in an accident and this boy stops in his tracks, remembers how his coach was disgraced the same way and helps push him to the finish line? I am sobbing. “there's more to racing than just winning” same line as the start, but where earlier it was to impress the camera, this time it's from the bottom of the heart. banging my fists on the table “you got a lot of stuff kid” the grandpa says to the boy, pride, forgiveness and acceptance mingle as I begin to wail. the new racing headquarters will be built in the town, it's back on the map. I am hopping up and down out of sheer jubilation. oh and they're all cars btw. what more do you want?

Friendly reminder that Marlin threatened a fish bigger than him when he thought his friend’s son was in danger. Despite having chronic anxiety.

“M’ mates and I met Nemo when he was headed back home with Marlin and Dory! Now, of course Marlin was a bit nervous— understandable, since the last time he saw me, I was tryin’ to eat him and Dory.

“But after Dory broke the ice and I apologized, this tiny li’l clownfish swims out from behind Marlin— even smaller than him— and immediately goes up to me, askin’ Anchor, Chum, and me all sorts of questions. The kid was completely undaunted by the fact that we were sharks! Just as fearless as Dory was when we first met.

“I could tell bein’ close to Nemo seemed to make Marlin a bit nervous— which is fair. Bless his heart for goin’ through so much for his li’l boy! But I think after a few minutes passed, Marlin realized his boy— and Dory and himself— were in no danger. We try to keep close ties with our fish friends— and they’re always welcomed back to our meetin’s!”

he just had his car ass out, huh?

Pixar gets the damndest things past Disney and I love them for that. I'll say that much.

My opinion about.......Cars 2

I know there are people who don't like Cars 2 at all and think this movie has completely ruined the Cars franchise because they think it sucks to the point of doing like this movie never had never exist!

So I'm going to say one thing to these people ........................... how dare you!

In Cars 2 we finally have the possibility to see the world racing in the world of Cars beyond the NASCAR races of the Piston Cup and to see Lightning Mcqueen confronting racers who come from all over the world in an international race!

We can therefore see them traveling in different countries which allows us to admire their architecture and their landscapes all around the world in "car" version which allows us to understand their lifestyles!

Since Mater is the protagonist, we can finally better understand how he sees the world around him and therefore better understand his personality!

We can also see how Mater perceives the mockery and criticism he suffers on a daily basis because of his wacky personality and his wacky behavior, and we also see the discrimination in the world of Cars vis-à-vis cars. which break down easily which makes us send a message of fight against discrimination!

And Mater FINALLY has a girlfriend which I wanted too ! Because seriously how can such a lovely person stay single!

And then with the espionage turning this movie into an action movie with a brilliant soundtrack is so cool!

So here is !

Everything I love about this wonderful movie that is Cars 2 which fits perfectly in the Cars franchise!

So I don't really understand those who don't like Cars 2 because for me every movie has its importance in a character's story so if you pretend a movie from a franchise doesn't exist it's like if you skip part of the protagonist's life !
