I went to a coffee shop to study. It was hella productive. Did 30 MKSAP nephrology questions AND made anki cards. Love that.
I went put and studied with my friends today. I also found an amazing way to actually retain info in residency; it’s doing what i did in med school but with a twist (wow shocker). I’m going to be making anki decks. No surprise there.
I was hoping to manage a bit of studying but i appear to be easily distracted. I have an exam on the 15th of December that centers around Nephrology and Cardiology and I’m a tad bit scared. Could be my imposter syndrome. I would never know.
Im going to try to squeeze in a few pages of MKSAP reading.
Still love internal medicine though, and trying to love myself.
Internal medicine residency is hard. It is mentally and physically taxing. And honestly, not being able to talk about it with anyone makes it ten times worse. Hence why im breaking my silence. Welcome to my reputation era.
Day 1 of productivity.
23 january 2021
I started prepping for my IFOM 1 exam. I want to retake it for a better grade for my residency application. Also studying for my finals (internal medicine—cardiology, hematology, respiratory, and renal, and Neurology/psychiatry).
If anyone is interested in my studying plan for IFOM 1 let me know.
06/01/2020.
Y’all i have my final in 3 days and I’m anxious. I really want to do good. Like i believe that i can do good. But at the same time don’t?
Anyway, this is my desk, and I love it. It really motivates me a lot. I believe everyone should be comfortable in their study zone and this is what makes me comfortable.
Good luck everyone 💙

First of all, merry Christmas Eve to whoever celebrates Christmas!
I’ve been away for a while because I wasn’t in a proper place mentally and just didn’t study at all. But now I have to buckle up and be as productive as I can to do well on my finals.
I had my OSCE exam today and it was really good. Like really. It motivated me to study harder and better!
