Web Blocks & Head Knocks

Summary: Peter’s day had been going pretty well until he gets badly injured in an accident on patrol.
Whumptober Day 8: Head Trauma

It’s close to eleven-twenty in the evening as Peter webslings back home, to his new home in upper Manhattan at Happy’s new apartment—the Parker-Hogan residence. And for once, Peter is actually on time to meet his curfew with ten minutes to spare.

The night has been very slow with little to no crimes, a little unusual for a Saturday night in New York, but he’s happy and grateful for it. He webbed around the city, helping out where he could by helping out a few tourists with directions and recommended places to eat, he helped an older couple bring their groceries up to their floor in their apartment building, he helped a girl around his age get her car back up and running where it brown down on a dark and quiet street, as well as stopping a few robberies here and there.

All in a day’s work for your friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man.

Are We Out of the Woods Yet?

Summary: In which Peter and Morgan get lost when they decide to go for a walk on a hiking trail near the cabin.
Whumptober Day 5: Alt. #7: Protective and Alt. #14: Emergency Blanket

Rain lightly falls outside, gently hitting the windows of the Stark cabin as Peter sits on the couch in the living room, watching a movie with Morgan.

Morgan, who is currently sitting on the couch upside down, her feet dangling in the air. “Petey, I’m booorrreed.” She whines.

“Hi, booorreeddd. Nice to meet you.” Peter says with a smirk.

Morgan looks up at him with a small glare, causing Peter to chuckle.

Not So Super Side Effects

Summary: Peter is recovering at the Stark lake house from a broken leg when Dr. Banner makes a house call to bring him some newly formulated pain medication to help him with the pain.
Things just don’t go as smoothly as Tony and Bruce hoped they would.
Whumptober Day 1: Adverse Reactions & “This wasn’t supposed to happen.”

“Just—you have to sit still, Pete.” Tony says, a hint of frustration in his voice as he tries to adjust the pillows behind Peter’s back on the chaise section of the couch as the teen squirms in his seat.

“But I’m so sick of sitting around all the time. I have things I need to do!” Peter whines as he throws his arms out to his sides.

“Not with a broken leg you don’t,” Tony says, gesturing to Peter’s right leg that’s encased in a navy blue cast, propped up on a thick throw pillow. “If there’s anything you need, you let me know and I’ll get it for you. No putting weight on that leg—doctor’s orders and I know you don’t want to make Bruce angry.” He adds with a hint of sarcasm.

Chapter 2: Home

Tony doesn’t know how long he’s been out for when he’s suddenly aware of a faint brightness behind his closed eyes. He tries to ignore it, only it grows brighter with each passing second. He frowns, tilting his head to the side in hopes to escape it, only for the brightness to increase. Tony opens his eyes, only to slam them shut once again, weakly raising his arm up to shield his face from the light.

But… it’s unlike any light he’s ever seen before.

It almost looks like a small star, floating in space right in front of him.

Tony’s frown deepens into curiosity as he lowers his arm as the light comes closer to the ship, decreasing in size and brightness ever so slightly.

Kidnapping Wasn’t On the Grocery List

Summary: In which Peter and Bruce are kidnapped by AIM.
Word Count: 5,016
Genre: whump, hurt/comfort, emotional hurt/comfort
Link to read on AO3
A/N: Day two of @whumptober2020
Thank you @blondsak and @xxx-cat-xxx for beta reading and ideas!!

They took them in broad daylight at a grocery store a few miles away from the compound. In hindsight, Bruce could have done something—paid more attention to their surroundings. He’s grown accustomed to not always needing to constantly look over his shoulder like he’d done before joining the team.

That’s why they’re in this mess now. He messed up…. badly.

Bruce and Peter were only there to pick up a few things for dinner that night, bringing their bags to one of Tony’s less conspicuous Audi sedans. Peter barely had any time to react before a group of goons were on top of them, one of them getting in a lucky shot and hitting Peter behind the head with a crowbar.

Bruce felt the big guy shift inside of him, the all-too-familiar green glow in his eyes, when one of the men suddenly grabs Peter, who’s half-conscious, by his hoodie and shoves a gun against the side of his head.
