“Dad?” The little boy called out with a soft voice, the covers of his bed wrapped around his tiny body and a hue of smile playing on his lips.

Raising his head from the book in his hands, a warm smile took over Bucky’s lips as he saw his son standing at the doorway of the bedroom. “Noah, you should be sleeping.”

Taking a tiny step towards his father, Noah flashed him an innocent smile, his eyebrows slightly frowned. “I think the Sandman forgot to come to my room tonight.”

“Once again?” Bucky let out a warm laughter, moving his fingers to the rim of his blanket before raising it to the air, giving the little boy a sign to come sleep next to him. “Let’s see if he’ll remember me.”
