Confession #2284
" Ok so Kitty Pryde's no longer with the Jean Grey school as of the end of Battle of the Atom. Great! I want her to teach at Avengers Academy!"

Confession #2200
"Just got my Iron Man 3 DVD and I can't wait to watch it. It's like a textbook on how a work can subvert a viewer's expectations in a smart clever way. Is it completely loyal to the comic? No. But it's an incredibly intelligent clever film. Also is it too much to ask that Trevor Slattery somehow makes his way into Earth 616?"

Confession #2198
"I think I'm the only one who likes the Taskmaster costume that Udon Studios designed for the 2002 mini-series better than George Perez's original design."

Favorite Costume Design
"I love everything about Nova's costume especially the helmet. Just a really cool design by John Buscema that was really ahead of it's time for 1976."

Confession #2131
"I miss those weird licensed comics Marvel had in the 70s and 80s that were treated like they were part of the Marvel Universe and you had weird stuff like Spider-Man fighting Megatron, The Avengers vs Godzilla, and well anything involving Rom the Space Knight. Seriously if Marvel wants me to buy their "Dexert" comic they should find a way to have Spider-Man show up in it."

Confession #2112
"Am I happy that Avengers Arena is cancelled? Not really. Unless there's some kinda clever V.R. plot twist in the last issue the damage is already done. I'm just hoping Mettle and Juston don't stay dead as long as say Mockingbird or Blink did."

Confession #1930
"You know what? I'd be perfectly happy if no one in the Marvel Universe ever mentioned M-Day again. It ruined DeFilippis/Weir's New X-Men, took a lot of the more interesting mutant characters off the table, and how the Scarlet Witch was handled was a utter disgrace to the character and her fans."

Confession #1855
"Even though it's essentially Silver Age fanfiction, "Untold Tales of Spider-Man" by Kurt Busiek is one of the most entertaining comics you'll ever read."

Confession #1854
"I think Karl Kesel's 1996-to-1997 run on Daredevil is really underrated. It was one of the few post "Born Again" runs on Daredevil not to ape the writing styles of Frank Millar and Ann Nocenti. In fact I think of it as a precursor to Mark Waid's current work with the character."

Confession #1773
"When talking about diversity in comics two subjecst that gets easily over-looked is region and economic class. Rural poverty is a major problem in the United States and the only Marvel book I can think of off the top of my head to really deal with it is Sentinel. The only other books I can think of with rural settings were Rom the Space Knight and Man-Thing. "

Confession #1772
"When I see people freaking out over Hank Pym not creating Ultron in Avengers 2, I'm reminded 2002 when people were claiming that organic webbing was going to ruin the Spider-Man character. Or 2007 when a ton of guys said the guy from "Brokeback Mountain" couldn't be the Joker. Relax and wait for the trailer to come out before judging."

Confession #1686
"My problem with the "Mutants as the every-minority" metaphor and the X-Men franchise in general is that all to often we get scenes of Straight, White, Middle-Class, Christian, Cisgendred Male characters talking about how oppressed they are..."

Confession #1685
"It really, deeply annoys me that fans are so hesitant to try and support books with new characters. That's what ended series like Arana and Sentinel, and almost killed Runaways before it had a chance to catch on. Just because there's a lot of great characters out there is no excuse not to give new things a try."

Confession #1609
"I never want to see X-23 rejoin the X-Men. Putting a teenager on X-Force which is essentially a wetwork crew is one of the most unforgivable things Cyclops has ever done. Personally I think she fits better in the character dynamic of Avengers Academy anyway."

Confession #1444
"I ship X-23 with Juston Seyfert. Why? Because she was created to be a weapon, and he became a hero because he saw potential in a weapon to be something else. Because they're both motivated by guilt. Also she stood up for him against Emma Frost event though she hated the Sentinel. Plus I just think they'd look cute together."
