Confession #2197
"I think Denis Hopeless is a pretty good writer. He got me to care for fifteen teens that I knew nothing about prior to Avengers Arena. Even now I'm still collecting series with characters that are in Avengers Arena."

Confession #2166
"I love Avengers Arena, but I really wish it was non-canon. I'm a sucker for battle royal/Hunger Games style stories so I was drawn to the story right away, but I don't like how they're killing off characters that people have grown to love over the years. Hell I'd most likely hate the story too if Rockslide, my favorite Young X-Men, was in it as well."

Favorite Currently Running Series
"I'm actually really invested in Arena. I know it's a problematic series but the story-telling's solid so far, and it's nice seeing the characters put in such drastic situations."

"Am I happy that Avengers Arena is cancelled? Not really. Unless there's some kinda clever V.R. plot twist in the last issue the damage is already done. I'm just hoping Mettle and Juston don't stay dead as long as say Mockingbird or Blink did."

"You know what makes me even more upset about Avengers Arena? That Infinity: The Hunt is introducing 15 NEW Teenage heroes and several more teenage schools! Were the Avenger Arena kids being killed specifically so these new kids can take over? Good Grief!"

"I don't like how hank pym and tigra seemed not to know the original avengers academy kids that well in avengers arena 13 like when he asked finesse if she was friends with the missing kids they were together for like 2 years"

Confession #1461
"Nico's back, which is beyond awesome! However, it still doesn't change the fact there's a lot of Arena I dislike. Just because one character came back doesn't change a lot of the bad story telling in Arena. You can't have a character say "My boyfriend exploded all over me!" In a dead serious, not at all ironic context and still claim to have a good book. There's also a near text book friding in the first issue and everything potentially compelling Juston went through was off panel."

"Avengers Arena has amazingly awful art. I mean it's so bad I actually like it because it's so strange and off model! My favorite bit is the weird pose Hazmat makes when she's mourning on her knees in 11. I can just stare at it for hours."

"I really wish making high quality Marvel animated series didn't take so long. I would absolutely love to see Marvel NOW! comics like Cable and X-Force, X-Men Legacy, Avengers Arena and Uncanny X-Men as animated series'."

Confession #1251
"I would just like to point out that all this recent death in Avengers Arena is because Nico couldn't do her one job of watching the psychotic technopath, I know she was trying to be respectful but when he/she is making out with a death machine is when you especially need to be watching. If she just let X-23 watch like she wanted to Apex would still be tied up and Nico and Justin would still be alive. While I'm on the topic I think Arcade stacked the players, over half use tech and Apex gota army"

"I still dislike Arena, but I'm glad Marvel is doing a side story about The Runaways missing their friends. Hopefully it'll have some good character moments and will get Runaways more exposure."

Confession #1100
"In Wolverine and the X-Men, the Jean Grey School staff are actively searching for students who willfully walked away from the school to join the Hellfire Club but no one has even noticed the Avengers kids have gone unwillingly missing to parts unknown. So either Marvel is saying the Avengers have really crappy parenting skills or perhaps Avengers Arena isn't all that it appears. (or maybe it's just Marvel itself who has crappy parenting skills)"

Confession #1042
"I like Avengers Arena. i never read runaways, or Avengers academy. Everyone is getting REALLY bent out of shape because they’re favorite characters are dying. NEWSFLASH! IT’S A COMIC BOOK! this is the norm, and they will definitely be back eventually, if not in the very end when X-23 wins this whole thing. Even if Arcade doesn’t have them alive somewhere, the writers will probably have a way to bring them back. Quit your belly achin’, enjoy the show, and wait for the heroes to come back and kick Arcade’s ass."

Confession #1039
"I personally like the avengers arena, I understand what people are saying about it not really having a point other that "people are dying and arcade is a badass" and while I personally do not know that much about the characters I have heard of a few and there are 2 that I am familiar with and fond of(both now dead) and 1 I am an honest to god fan (x-23 all the way). The point is I am enthralled by the fact that death hear IS DEATH it makes it more real I no longer flinch when an A-lister dies."
