They cut the Christmas Story skit but kept in red boots?!  I wonder if they thought it was too controversial…?  Wow.  It’s not even available online.  That skit was fucking great.  And there were just so many lines or jokes that got cut or changed?  Like in the marriage one, he keeps going after needing his chocolate and pronounces them man and wife HIMSELF.  The Christmas Mass skit had more parts to it, the one-dimensional woman from a male driven comedy bit had more lines…

AND AND IN THE OFFICE BIT. When he’s talking about making a connection with someone, they show him and Tauriel talking, Kili comes in and interrupts, ‘jokingly’ bullies Bilbo a bit, and yeah… then it cuts to the whole ‘THEY’RE ATTACKING THE WALL’… yeah, now I see why everyone recommended the dress rehearsal.

And and!!!  :D!!  In his monologue, during the bit where he was naming all of his projects, the bit where he mentions Picking Up the Pieces, I cheered and clapped and NO ONE else did (I clapped because it’s a real thing; it was a show Amanda Abbington was on and he was in an episode).  In the live version a few people golf clapped but in the rehearsal it was dead fucking silent except for me) and he made a funny face, looked over, and pointed at me, and went, “She knows it!” and I fucking died on the spot.

I JUST REMEMBERED ANOTHER CUT SKIT.  It was one of those game shows where you go into a tank and they blow cash all around you.  Martin was the guy playing and it was.. well, I thought it was funny.  I was hoping that would be online too but oh, well.
