A slow week …

I’ve been pretty much sick the whole week and today was the only seminar I could attend to: so again from tomorrow I’ve nothing to do except studying in my little room ^^;

Hello spring! It’s finally sunny outiside again! I live in Norway so I haven’t seen the sun properly since August last year hahah … I’ve tried to live my life recently as analogue as I can: I’ve listened to my favourite songs on cassette through Walkmans, deleted all social media apps (except Tumblr) to stop myself from scrolling and reading during the idle minutes of my everyday life. It’s been great!

It makes me think of wanting to write letters to people (I don’t have anyone I could write letters to) but I would love to have penpals again.

Uni is almost back in session again: there’s sooo many books I have to read for literature class! Time to give up life and get into it (for the first time I’ll be able to reach my Goodreads goal lol)

People really need to understand proper literature criticism. They’ll be like “that book is bad, it’s filled with cliches” without them having general knowledge of literature.

It’s about damn time it’s fall again☕️🍂

I have drowned myself in coffee and paper these couple of weeks: early hours at uni when most people sleep, some theatre and opera if I get the chance.

I’m studying Nordic language and literature (kind of like English major but in Norway) and it’s been a rough start, but I am finally getting a grip on everything.

I have a hard time just relaxing and doing nothing: I always feel that I should be doing something productive: read or write. I find that I am having a hard time just taking the day for what it is: calm with nothing to do.

So I started re-playing Life Is Strange and got motivated to take more Polaroid pictures, I even started journaling more! Can’t wait to fill that little book with ink of my thoughts, excitement and feelings! I want to do stuff more analog: taking pictures and writing with my hand, there’s something romantical about it, to see everything in it’s true, raw, unedited, physical form.

I’m going away this weekend and don’t know if I’ll be able to write here everyday through that weekend, but I’ll post pictures and a wrap-up! My boyfriend and I are spending a night at a historical hotel with art gallery, then we’re taking a round-tour to see the different stave churches of Norway. I am so excited to experience all of this!
