Fashion Show Nº37, Men’s Collection Spring–Summer 2002

The Artist in Thailand A painter spends several months living and working on a Thai beach, then returns to Europe: this is the show’s theme. Perhaps with an unconscious nod to the Passage Brady, a colourful collection is presented in a beautiful cast-iron greenhouse at the city’s Department of Parks and Green Spaces, in the Bois de Boulogne. A gentle mist of rain falls from a specially constructed sprinkler just inside the entrance, accentuating the semi-tropical humidity. Following the show – the last of the day – guests enjoy a Thai buffet by Angelo Russo, served on tables decorate with huge bunches of marigold.
